Regarding the order, Ashish Kumar Gupta, Managing Director of Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd. talked with Zee Business Managing Editor Anil Singhvi in a special edition of the ‘News Par Views’ TV show.
Texmaco Rail & Engineering received a big order worth Rs 6450 crore from Indian Railways for delivering 20,067 wagons. The order has to be completed in 39 months. Regarding this order, Ashish Kumar Gupta, Managing Director of Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd. talked with Zee Business Managing Editor Anil Singhvi in a special edition of the ‘News Par Views’ TV show.
Gupta said that the company has got the order from Indian Railways. He further said that the Railways had floated a tender for the supply of 90,000 wagons, which is targeted to be completed in 39 months. So out of that 90,000 wagons, our company has got an order to supply 20,000 wagons. The time limit for the completion of this order is 39 months.
The Managing Director said that the orders of the Railways are given keeping in view the production capacity of the companies. Orders are not received beyond capacity. And so, Texmaco Rail received orders as per its capacity.
Gupta said that apart from the orders received from Indian Railways, the company has orders for 1700-1800 wagons, for which it is already running.
Regarding the fourth quarter margin results, Gupta said that at the moment it is not possible to comment as the company’s fourth-quarter results are going to declare on May 20, 2022. It would be better to talk about the results after May 20.
